I love the way a tiny newborn baby changes everything. Whether it is your first or your fifth their presence is felt, the families’ roles are redefined and everything is an exhausted miracle. When I had my first it was also accompanied by a rough bout of postpartum preeclampsia but I still have so many pictures and memories of that newborn magic, becoming mom and dad and figuring it out day by day. When I had my third my first two swore her nose just looked like a pear and it was so sweet watching them change roles once again, and seem so much bigger than they were only days before. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If I could go back I’d greet my old self with so much grace. There is always more than can be accomplished and things and people to see. But bodies heal and newborn magic makes way to blooming personalities of toddlers who then grow into adventurous and capable children. Even so my children still pull out their baby photo albums and look through all the old pictures when they made such an impact and positive large change to our family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
