Ugh this rings so true to me about pregnancy. What a unique time in life to be a part of something so grand and terribly uncomfortable and life altering. I have never loved pregnancy, but man is it always a time of such growth; physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I feel completely out of control. I, myself, cannot do anything to make the baby grow properly or check to see if the baby is still breathing, I am a helpless vessel. My body is breaking and creating life all at the same time. What a beautiful thing. This moment where mama and babe are in almost; almost fully cooked, almost in mama’s arms, almost totally stretched to the seams, almost completed the journey.
