Phoenixville Family Session

The other day my friend Amy told me about something she had read to help put your children to bed at night. She said you do your bedtime routine and then before you leave ask your child if they have any questions. That simple question she said sometimes elicits a question or story or just a random thought your child had and then she found her own son seems to relax and she doesn’t have to run through the one more kiss, six more hugs, one glass of water, I think I left my favorite stuffed animal downstairs saga. I thought what an incredibly beautiful thing. This makes so much since I am going to try this genius tip on my daughter tonight. We run through our whole bed time routine and I tuck her in and get ready for the magic ask of “Do you have any questions for me?”. She thinks for a moment and then looks at me and says well….I don’t have any questions but I could use a few favors…. So in short I know when she enters her teenage years I am in big trouble.

This beautiful family was not trouble but an absolute treasure to work with! They were sweet and loving and I enjoyed watching how they opened up and interacted with each other. Family and those relationships and bonds are so incredible and so lasting. They will forever remember these moments gathered together just to gather. Such beautiful souls on display. And I am sure they go right to bed, no favors asked. Booking sessions now until October!
